Christina Morales Hemenway-- Writer/Director/Performer/Coach
In Michigan, Christina earned a full scholarship to study under the world famous mime Marcel Marceau. In Los Angeles, she attended California Institute of the Arts [CalArts] and graduated with a BFA in Theater. She stayed in the L.A. area to explore her interests in screenwriting, singing, songwriting, movement theatre and filmmaking. While there, she wrote and directed several shorts, one music video, one industrial and two feature films. Her film "Dreammaker" has won either the Audience Choice Award or Best Feature Film in every festival in which it has played, and has enjoyed successful screenings in Los Angeles, Chicago, Louisville, Ann Arbor and Rome, Italy. Her next film, "Naked Angel," was an official selection of the Detroit Windsor Film Festival and has enjoyed successful screenings at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor and the Screen Actor's Guild Foundation in Los Angeles. It also won six awards from the Stauros Inspirational Film Festival, including best story and best direction. She is excited to release her latest feature film, a romantic comedy entitled "Bride+1."
